Educational Events ~ 2013
March 23 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Coyote Sings the Celebration of the Spring Equinox hosted by Hidden Valley Nature Center, Egypt Road, Jefferson, Maine. Come join in the celebration of the Spring Equinox with singer, songwriter Elizabeth Starr and fellow musicians as they spread Coyote magic. In Native American myths, Coyote was always the one to get the other animals to act….and so now, Coyote’s Song will wake up all the sleeping life, and announce that it is time to renew themselves again.
We want to hear your voice , too! Come and bring poems and prose you have written in your thoughts of our songdog….the one who has broken the silence of our landscape into Wild Song. And we shall conclude with a hike….maybe discovering some wanderings that coyote has left behind for us to wonder about.
